This gorgeous handmade Oushak rug is crafted exclusively from New Zeeland blended wool and Siberian hand spun wool. Oushak rugs are distinctive in both pattern and color palette. Most have a dark ivory or golden background accented by red geometric or floral motifs. The use of ivory, gold, and red is particular to Oushak rugs. The traditional design of arabesques and flowers is executed with slightly over sized knots—a hallmark of the Oushak region—giving this rug a soft, sumptuous pile.
