For regular wall to wall carpet on average, it will take approximately 20 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments. For upholstery cleaning it usually takes between 30-45 minutes for each sofa or sectional sofa. For area rug cleaning, we currently implement in house cleaning and pick up to our state-of-the art facility cleaning. Area Rug cleaning time can vary greatly, depending on the required cleaning procedure.

Depending on the job we can clean on site, usually it takes around 10-15 minutes per window treatment (this is the fastest and most convenient service) or in our state-of-the-art facility, which usually takes a few days. Upon request we provide next day service.

Kindly note that our technicians are professionally trained to move your furniture, and return it to its rightful place when cleaning is completed. Just let the crew know which furniture would you like to have moved and they will gladly assist you. We do suggest you remove items off of your furniture like electronics, plants, lamps, and knick-knacks.  We will move most furniture that can be safely moved by a two-man crew.  There are several items we will not move, including:  pianos, electronics, china cabinets, waterbeds, some large beds, dressers with mirrors, pool tables, etc.

Yes. Eco Carpet Service provides in home cleaning for area rugs and depending on the soiling of the rugs we provide additional services such as pick-up and cleaning in our state-of-the-art facility. However, if cleaned in the customers home the area rug cannot dry over the wet carpet. The area rug must be taken to a clean hard surface to dry.

After the cleaning is complete, the carpet is ready to be used right away. We use commercial grade wind movers to speed up the drying time for each room. Of course drying time depends on humidity levels, airflow to the room(s) cleaned, and the type of carpet. In general, turning on your air conditioning or heating system (depending on the time of year and your location) will help speed the process. While it typically takes 2–24 hours for the carpet to dry, you can walk on it as soon as we are finished. Do not forget to remove your shoes, before you step on the freshly cleaned carpet!

The most important thing you can do is to call a certified water damage company to come immediately. Remember in case of water damage TIME is the most important factor in restoring your property. The longer you wait the more damage your structure and furnishings will have. In the mean time you should not use your regular vacuum cleaner to remove water. Do not use any electric appliances in the room(s) with standing water.
